Orientation workshop on Georeferencing of Forestlands in Hirakud Wildlife & Bargarh Forest Division, Sambalpur.

SPARC and Forest IT & Geomatics Cell PCCF, Odisha hosted a training workshop on Geo Referencing of all kinds of forestland in Hirakud (Wildlife) & Bargarh Forest Divisions on June 9, 2023. The event witnessed the participation of 66 senior officials from the revenue and forest administration of the Bargarh district. 

The objective of this workshop was to impart awareness on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) notified by Government of Odisha to undertake the forest land geo-referencing exercise in pursuance of the directives of the Honourable Supreme Court of India in the Lafarge cae matter.
